MacedonianJournalofMedicalSciences(MJMS) publish outstanding research articles in health and biological sciences. Several other medical journals (MakedonMedPregl,GodZbMedFakSkopje,Maked J Med, Prilozi, Acta Chir Maced, Acta Morphol, and Physioacta)arepublishedintheRepublicofMacedo- nia. Each journal has a team of professional and academiceditorsevaluatingpapersforpublication(1). Occasionally, a manuscript is submitted that falls on the border between basic and clinical research or is classifiedasaprofessionalpaper.Toensurethatsuch papers receive the fairest possible treatment, the professional editors of other medical journals may consult each other on relevant manuscripts. As a result,authorswhohavesubmittedtheirmanuscriptto MJMS may be encouraged instead to submit their paper to other medical journals (and vice versa). However,paperswillneverbetransferredbetweenthe journals without an author’s consent. Copyright and License Policies Upon submission of an article, authors are askedtoindicatetheiragreementtoabidebyanopen- access license. The license permits any user to download,printout,extract,archive,anddistributethe article, so long as appropriate credit is given to the authors and source of the work.
