* * 虚拟语气 (1)在条件状语从句中表示与事实相反的条件。 a.与现在事实相反的条件 e.g. If I were you, I would go at once. If I had HIV, I would know because I would feel sick. b.与过去事实相反 e.g. If you had come a few minutes earlier, you would have met him. If she had told him about the danger, he would not have hurt. c.与将来事实相反 e.g. If it were sunny tomorrow, I would come to see you. If he would fail in the experiment this time, he would try again. e.g. If we were to panic(受惊,惊慌), we should not be able to help. 有时候主句和从句的谓语动词指不同的时间，这时需要用混合虚拟语气（错综时间条件句），要根据实际情况灵活运用，尤其要注意提示语：时间状语。 e.g. If you ____that late movie last night, you wouldn’t be so sleepy. haven’t watched B.didn’t watch C. hadn’t watched D.wouldn’t watched If Paul had received six more votes in the last election, he would be our chairman now. but for, without(如果没有) e.g. Without (but for) the Party, we wouldn’t be so happy. (2)虚拟语气在宾语从句中的用法 ①wish引起的表示愿望的虚拟语气 用wish表示对现在的愿望时,从句中谓语动词形式为:过去时(be动词用were). 用wish表示对将来的愿望时,从句中谓语动词形式为:would, could, should,might+动词原形 wish用语对过去的事实表示一种不可能实现的愿望时,从句中谓语动词形式为:had+过去分词，或would, could+have+动词过去分词． e.g. I wish I could buy a spaceship some day. I wish that he wasn’t so lazy.
