Abstract ABSTRACT Objective ： To explore the mechanism of ARB drugs (valsartan) in treatment of diabetic nephropathy and the effect of these three factors in the development of type 2 diabetic nephropathy by detecting the level of IL-8, MCP-1, TNF-a of serum in normal, type 2 diabetes and type 2 diabetic nephropathy. Method ： To included 20 healthy volunteers (NC group), 20 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM1 group), 40 patients with early type 2 diabetic nephropathy. 40 cases of diabetic nephropathy were randomly divided into valsartan group (DM2 group, 20 cases )and not taking valsartan group (DM3 group, 20 cases ). The other treatment for each group are the same. The test period is 3 months. Efficacy was analyzed after 3 months. Result ： 1.Before and after the test, compared the DM1 group and the NC group, there were no difference in the sex, age, body mass index and the BUN, Scr, TC, UAER, IL-8, MCP-1, TNF-a (P 0.05) . There were differences in FPG and 2hPG(P0.05). 2..Before the test, compared the DM2 group and the DM1 group, the DM3 group and the DM1 group, there were all no difference in the sex, age, body mass index and the FPG, 2hPG, BUN, Scr and TC (P0.05) . There were all differences in IL-8, MCP-1, TNF-a and UAER (P0.05). After the test, compared the DM1 group and the DM2 group, there were all no difference in the body mass index and FPG, 2hPG, BUN, Scr, TC, IL-8, MCP-1, TNF-a and UAER(P0.05) . Compared the DM3 group and the DM1 group, there were all no difference in the body mass index, FPG, 2hPG, BUN, Scr,and TC (P0.05) .
