Students try to read the words using the phonetics by themselves. underline the words that they can`t read correctly. 2.Give them a few minutes to deal with the problems they have in their pronunciation in pairs or groups. At the same time the teacher walks around to see if they have any questions and help them. 3.Get individual students to read the new words to the class, the others listen. When necessary, the teacher should correct the mistakes . 4.Get the students to read the words three times after the tape. Then give them a few more minutes to read all the words quickly to consolidate the pronunciation.
