III．Teaching Procedures Step One: Lead-in 1. Ss listen to an English song in T’s space of the World University City. 2. Show Ss some sentences from the song “I believe I can fly”, and ask students to pay attention to the word ”can” If I can see it, then I can do it If I just believe it Theres nothing to it I believe I can fly I believe I can touch the sky 3. Show Ss a group of short videos and pictures（Jay Chou、 Yao Ming 、Miss He ），and ask Ss to answer the questions: T: Who is he/she? Ss: He’s Jay Chou/ Yao Ming. /She’s Miss He. T: What can he do well? /What can I do well? Ss: He can sing /play basketball well. /You can teach English well. T: Can you guess what he wants /I want to say?
