Methods: I eleve cases, followedup three mo ths to thirtee mo ths,w ith a average of 66 mo ths, accordi g to w hether exte di g fi ger fu ctio of thumb i eutrality positio ha dicaps a d dysaesthesia o forearm or ot, t he deep bra ch of radial erve i jury w ith backside i jury i forearm was judged; t he operatio s were performed early. Results:The i formatio i operatio proved t he diag ose.After operatio , seve fresh a d tw o old cases recovered well, a d other two old cases recovered partly. Conclusion:Accordi g to t he dysaesthesia o ha d a d forearm a d exte di g thumb fu ctio i eu trality positio ha dicaps hi ts the possibility of deep bra ch of radial erve i jury early a d the result of early operatio is good.
