This article analyses strikingly humorous effects by violating Cooperative Principle in order to realize some communication intention under the guidance of the theory of CP deduced by H.P.Grice.: the maxim of quality, the maxim of quantity, the maxim of relevance and the maxim of manner. It is based on Grice’s Cooperative Principle theory of analysis the effects of violation the principles of cooperative to creating a string sense of humor. It will help us to understand and master the language better and improve our ability to appreciate the use of language. Humor is an art of a language. By applying it appropriately, some unexpected effects may be realized. Besides the intrinsic rules of a language, the production of humor depends on extents in which a language is used to a great extent. Key words humor Grice
