Black Mirror ABOUT Black Mirror It′s a three-part television drama series created by Charlie Brooker. Regarding the programmes content and structure, Brooker noted, Each episode has a different cast, a different setting, even a different reality. But theyre all about the way we live now – and the way we might be living in 10 minutes time if were clumsy. In a bedroom, a woman named Victoria wakes up in a chair to find she cant recall anything about her life. Leaving the house, Victoria sees people constantly recording her on their phones. When asking for help and shouting at the people to stop recording her, a man wearing a balaclava with the symbol on it pulls up in a car, takes out a shotgun, and fires at Victoria. After that,she suffers from a series of trials,meets some persons who seem to be helpers.But actully,what happend to her is an out and out lie.Her fiancé killed a six-year-old girl and she recorded the whole outrage(骇人听闻的暴行）by phone indifferently. The White Bear, originally the victims teddy, was a symbol of the nationwide search and murder investigation, while the symbol on the screens and on the hunters mask was identical to the tattoo that identified Victorias fiancé. Having tearfully pleaded guilty and insisting she was under Iains spell, Victoria was given a sentence the judge described as proportionate and considered – to undergo this mob-recorded, poetic justice every day. As she watches footage of Jemima, Baxter places electrodes on her head, wiping Victorias memory of the days events as she screams in agony. As Baxter leaves the compound to the sound of Victorias screams, he takes out a black pen and crosses off 18 October from the calendar; ready for Victoria to relive the same events the next day. Over the end credits, we see the staff of the White Bear Justice Park prepare for another day as they set up the scenario, and how it plays out.
