He successfully bred 70 cows in 2002. As you can see from the photo taken at 8 years, he is still virile and masculine. Bull CO2 is very strong and masculine in the neck and shoulders. He sires sons and daughters that have great longevity. They mature early, thrive on grass, and finish on grass by the second growing season. CO2 will not give you calving problems. CO2 will build a herd of cows that will work on grass and you will be proud to show them off to your neighbors. CO2 daughters have beautiful udders and small nipples. CO2 has proved himself to produce progeny with meat low in connective tissue and very tender (below 3.6 on the Warner Bratsel scale). Hereford bull Devon Bull 667（devon） is 8 years old and comes from lineage that has been grass-based for more than 70 years. His lineage goes back to the great Potheridge Masterpiece, who produced Dean Piece, who produced the excellent Bull 425; 425 produced the 677 bull that has so many great animals in the Rotokawa herd. No grain of any kind has ever been used in this herd or with this bull. Bull 677 has a little extra length of back but is still well balanced with heavy shoulders and large rump and loin area. This bull is an excellent choice for using on your Devon herd. 667 does an excellent job when used on commercial cows. There has never been a calf assisted at birth from 667. 667 has many offspring (male and female) in the Rotokawa herd. The daughters of 667 cross very well with 688 that would allow building a herd of commercial cows. Calves from 667 will finish on grass in 15 to 18 months.
