Abstract
Themainobjectiveofthisresearchistodevelop,byadaptiveevolution,mutantstrainsofEnterobacteraerogenes
ATCC13048thatarecapableofwithstandinghighglycerolconcentrationaswellasresistingethanol-inhibition.
Themutantwillbeusedforhighethanolfermentationfromglycerolfeedstock.Ethanolproductionfrompure(P-)
andrecovered(R-)glycerolusingthestockwasevaluated.Asix-tube-subculture-generationsmet
