Methods:SixmajorvirulentfactorgenesofAPP,i.e.,apxI,apxII,apxIII,APPRTX-toxinsIV(apxIV),ompandtype4 fimbrialstructural(apfa)wereexpressed.BALB/cmicewereimmunizedwithrecombinantApxI(rApxI), recombinantApxII(rApxII),recombinantApxIII(rApxIII)andrecombinantOMP(rOMP)(GroupI);rApxI,rApxII,rApxIII, recombinantApxIV(rApxIV),recombinantApfa(rApfa)andrOMP(GroupII);APPserotype1(APP1)inactivated vaccine(GroupIII);orphosphate-bufferedsaline(PBS)(Controlgroup),respectively.Afterthefirstimmunization, miceweresubjectedtotwoboosterimmunizationsat2-weekintervals,followedbychallengewithAPP1Shope 4074andAPP2S1536. Results:Theefficacyofthemulticomponentrecombinantsubunitvaccineswasevaluatedonthebasisofantibody titers,survivalrates,lunglesionsandindirectimmunofluorescence(IIF)detectionofAPP.Theantibodylevelof GroupIwassignificantlyhigherthanthoseoftheotherthreegroups(P0.05).ThesurvivalrateofGroupIwas higherthanthatofGroupsIIandIII(P0.05)andthecontrol(P0.01).Comparedwiththeotherthreegroups, thelungsofGroupIdidnotexhibitobvioushemorrhageornecrosis,andonlyshowedweakandscattered fluorescentdotsbyIIFdetection. Conclusion:Theresultindicatesthatthemulticomponentrecombinantsubunitvaccine
