4.2 FLUSHING ??The flushing discharge line must always be “OPEN”. It is not allowed that the valve body is pressurised by the flushing water pump. 冲水排出管必须一直开着，不允许阀体承受冲水泵的高压！ ??Flush all gate valves permanently or in a “flushing program“. 长期冲洗闸阀或者选择“冲洗程序” ??IMPORTANT: Flush the gate valve at least before and after moving the gate. 重要事项：至少在阀体移动之前或者之后需冲洗闸阀 ??The gate must always be wet. 阀体必须保持湿润。 ??Gate valves below deck: flushing drainpipe must empty in the hopper or overboard above waterline, so that the gate valve is always filled with water. 闸阀在甲板面之下：冲洗排水管必须清空在料斗里或者排舷外水线以上，因此闸阀里面总是注满水的。 ??Gate valves above deck: flushing drainpipe must empty in the hopper or direct overboard. The valve body can be filled up by restricting the drainpipe in such a way that the gate valve will always be filled or stays filled with water. 闸阀在加班上面：冲洗排水管必须清空在料斗里或者直接排舷外。阀体可以制约排水管,在这种情况下闸阀都会水??The gate valves may not be flushed in serial. 闸阀不必连续性的冲洗 ??The pressure difference between the flushing water and the passage of the valve body may not exceed 3 bar. 冲洗水和阀体通道之间的压差不可以超过3bar ??The flushing connections above and below the passage should be connected for sufficient flushing. 上下通道都需要连接冲洗水管从而保持足够的冲洗 ??It is necessary that the flushing water has a flow speed of about 5 meter/second to be sure that the material in the gate valve will be flushed away. When the speed of the flushing water is too low, the material in the gate valve will not be flushed away and thus causes damage. In order to obtain sufficient flushing use the capacities (as a guideline) as prescribed in the matrix below.
