No. 4 2001 年 11 月 CHINESE SCIENCE 四CHNOL.仁尼Y T RA.1\ISLATORS JOURNAL Nov.2001 文化层次翻译观 对立在 〈广西大学梧州分校外语系 椿州市 543002) 擒要 以跨文化交流活动为目的的翻译，与其说涉及的是两种语言，但i 不如说涉及的是两种文化。翻译 研究无疑应该置于文化研究的大语境之下。本文以文化层次结构和文化进化论的观点为基础，并吸收 Popper 的哲学思想，试图给翻译研究提供一个理论框架。在这个理论框架里，翻译被看作是一个由浅而 深，由表层到内层的跨文化交流活动，主要是出文化表层翻译，文化中层翻译，文化深层翻译，以及零翻译 所构成。以此为基础，本文还提出了五个翻译模式，尝试性地对翻译活动的复杂性进行初步的剖析。 关键词文住翻译 文化层次 跨文化交流 语言层次 文化深层 Abstract It is no doubt that translation studies should be 四plored in the broad context of cultural studies, for translation , which aims to exchange cultures,concerns culture rather than language. In this paper ,inspired by the philosophy of Karl Popper , the present author tries to provide translation studies with theoretical framework , which consists of translations in surface layer, in middle layer, in deep layer , and zero translation on the 油田.retical basis of the viewpoints of culturallayers and the theori臼 of cultural evolutionism, and has made a sample study of the difficulties of translations on the basis of the five translation models proposed according to the theories above.
