The ba sic m ethod s to treat VOC s, such as ad sorp tion technology, conden sation technology, m emb raneba sed techno logy, com bu stion technology, b iological p urification techno logy, etc. were described. A t the sam e tim e, the app lication s of activated carbon to treat VOC s a s ab sorbent and p hotocatalytic carrier were discu ssed. The urgen t p rob lem s and developm ent trend s of VOC s treatm en t by activated carbon were p ropo sed.
