This paper refers to the divination documents from the Otani collection and identifies six manuscripts among them, considering further that the divination type and methods reflected by these documents are basically similar to those recorded in Dunhuang divination documents. The only difference lies in the wording and complexity of instruction. Some words used in the Otani manuscripts, though different from those in Dunhuang divination documents, are the same as those in his torical documents from the Central Plains, which might reflect that most historical documents preserved at the Turfan region in the early Tang dynasty came from the Central
