A bstract: This paper comparatively describes the research status and trend pertinent to the dual arm robots inter-
nally and externally in detail while it discusses the characteristics and effectiveness concernign the robots with dual
arms. And several ideas about the future research on the robots w ith dual arms have been proposed combined w ith
the actual situation in our country.
