Wetlands, forests and oceans are the worlds three largest ecosystems, known as earths kidneys, natural reservoirs and natural species repositories. To strengthen the protection and utilization of the wetland, on February 2, 1971, representatives from 18 countries in the southern coastal city lahm sal signed the about especially as waterfowl habitat international important wetland convention.

Wetlands are an important area of environmental protection, and different countries and experts have different definitions of wetlands.
