At school it seems like the teachers just give me a hard time because of my skin tone. When I told my mom about this she said thats not true. So my mom and I had a conference with the teachers and they said thats crazy, we would never do such a thing. My parents give me pressure all the time. Actually my whole family gives me pressure. Sometimes its so much that I just want to say SHUT UP or leave me alone please. The pressure they give me is mostly about school. They are always telling me how important school is, which I know already, but I dont need to hear it all the time. It gets annoying. The pressure I put on myself is mostly my fault, because this problem went away for a long time but it came back. I dont know from what, but it came back. I guess you can call it a stomach pain that goes away for a long time but comes back unexpectedly. When I told my mom, I tried and tried to tell her what it was, but I didnt know what it was. So she took me to a counselor, but she said stuff I didnt want to hear. One day I went to the school counselor and she said maybe its from school and that was it. That could explain why I wasnt doing so well. Now Mrs. A checked on me and we sat down and talked for at least 20 or 30 minutes. She asked me how it was going and I said fine. In school, my grades went up and also my self-esteem. The relations with my teachers are better and the relation with my mom is excellent. Thanks Mrs. A, you helped me. 1.
