Yesterday I received a letter which came from Australia. I visited a scientist whose name is known all over the country. October 1, 1949 was the day when the People’s Republic of China was founded. His mother, who loves him very much, is strict with him. China, which was founded in 1949, is becoming more and more powerful. People who take physical exercise live longer. (若把从句去掉句子就失去意义) His daughter, who is in Boston now, is coming home next week. He is the man whose car was stolen. I’ve invited Jim, who lives in the next flat. He changed his mind, which made me very angry. (which指整个主句) Mr. Smith, who is our boss, will leave for Japan next week. (先行词为专有名词,要用非限制性定语从句修饰) Her father, who has a lot of money, wishes her to study abroad. 1:On Sundays there were a lot of children playing in the park, _______ parents seated together joking. A. their B. whose C. which D. that 例题2:On Sundays there were a lot of children playing in the park, _______ parents were seated together joking. A. their B. whose C. which D. that 例题3:On Sundays there were a lot of children playing in the park, and _______ parents were seated together joking. A. their
