Effect 2 5 of Nb2O5 o the si teri g a d microstructure of the alumi a ceramics was i vestigated. Results i dicate that the de sificatio of the ceraimcs is greatly improved by dopi g small amou t of Nb2O5 . Maximum de sity is obtai ed at 1500 with a dopi g level of 1 % Nb O .
