Pathogenic factors and pathogenesis of Alzheimer disease is not yet clear, Pathogenesis is based on theories of β-amyloid (Aβ) deposition, tau hyperphosphorylation and neuronal degeneration and death and others. Most studies on AD focus on the treatment of the disease, especially for drug targets. However, because of the com - plexity and diversity of the cause, with further research, drug targets are constantly new discoveries. In this paper, the progress of non-treatment drug and new targets for Alzheimer disease resistance are reviewed.
