Methods　Fifteenconsecutivepatientswithatrioventricularblockaftervalvereplacementwereselectedinthisstudy, whichaccepted permanentpacemakerimplantation(PPI)attheirpost-surgeryperiod.TheyreceivedVVIorDDDmodecardiacpacingaccordingone′s cardiacrhythmoreconomicstatu,sandsodidthelocationofelectrod,ewhosedemographicdatawasrecorded.Afterthemiplantation, onemonthsfollow-upwascarriedou,ttheirNYHAheartfunctionwasclassified.What′smor,etheirpacingreferenc,etheirelectrocar- diograhyindicator,ssuchasEFfractionandVEDD, wereanalyzed.　Results　Alloperationsweresuccessfulin15 patient,s10 of whichreceivedVVImodepacing, andtheotherDDDmode.Comparedwithnon-pacemakerdependent(NP)group, pacemakerde- pendent(P)grouppresentedahigherincidenceofconductiondisease(P0.05 )andlongercardiopumlonarybypasstime(CPB) (P0.01).Be
