Th e ultra o no graphic featur e and laboratory examinatio n w ere analy zed r etro pectiv ely. Results　Only 31( 3 1/40) patient with SAT w a diag no ed S AT accordantly o n ultra o no graph y, and the diag no tic accuracy rate w a 75. 6% . Ten SAT patient w ere mi diag no i ed a other th yr oid diea e . Conclusions 　 - , T he ultra o nogr aphic feature of SAT w er e ill defined hypo echoic round or ov al thy roid le ion and particularly a ociated with painful neck welling and /or fev er and laboratory te t clinically, and o n ultr a ound abundant blood flow in peripher al, but w ithout inner flow . The e ar e th e mo t important characteri tic which may improv e ati fied coincidence with the di ea e.
