Abstract: Objective To investigate the survival and the differentiation ofhu an a niotic epithelialcells(HAECs)
and to observe the effect ofHAECs on rotationalasy etry, dopa ine and its etabolite levels in the striatu ofPD odel
rats after being transplanted into the lateral ventricle of PD odel rats. M ethods TheParkinson s odelwas adewith
stereotaxic icroinjection of6OHDA into thebrain. And thePD odelswere divided into three groups: theHAECs group,
the PBS group and the PD group. And then to observe the circling behavior induced by a pheta ine of all rats for 10
weeks. The survival of the grafts after transplantation for 5 weekswas checked bywatching hu an specific nestin and vi
entin expression on theHAECs. And the influence ofHAECs on the dopa inergic neurons of PD rats after transplantation
for 10weekswas checked by countingTH positive cellnu bers in the substantia nigra. The differentiation of theHAECs
was checked by TH i unohistoche istry. In addition, DA and its etabolicproductDOPAC andHVA levels in the stria
