To know more things and activities about different countries’ festivals. Main and Difficult Points 1. To say the words and sentences correctly. 2. To talk about some festivals and activities in the four months and try to write s.th about them. Teaching Methods：communication approach. Teaching Aids：A computer and some pictures. 教学过程教师活动学生活动设计意图 Warming up Sing a song Ask and answer in pairs T: Look at the video and sing the song together. T: Two students a group, one ask and the other answer. Just like: What month is the…? How many…? Ss: Sing the song Months of the year Ss ask and answer in pairs according to the words on the screen. September is the ninth month of the year． Presentation Questions and answers： festivals in the months 2. Fill in the blanks with the festivals in these four months make up sentences. 3. Let’s listen ,read and say. Show some pictures on the screen. Q1: What festivals can you see from the pictures? Q2: Who has a birthday in these four months? Q3: Do you know what festival it is on Sep.10th? Q4: When is Teachers?Day? Who can tell me? Let’s fill in the blanks with the festivals in these four months. T: Let’s talk about them in differernt ways. ppt1: go back to school ppt2: play the piano Q1: What is she doing? Q2: Do you know why? Just guess!
