Methods Thirty-fo r patients w ith gallbladder cancer w ith liver infiltration, admitted from Sep. 2007 to A g. 2009, were involved and divided into two gro ps. Patients in s rgery gro p (n= 20, 12 males and 8 females, aged 53-76 years with mean of 691 0 years) received cholecystectomy and liver wedge resection, while in RFA gro p ( n= 14, 9 males and 5 females, aged 64-78 years with mean of 711 5 years) were selected to ndergo RFA. The s rvival rates and complications in the both gro ps were observed after operation. Results The 1-year s rvival rate in s rgery gro p was 701 0% ( 14/ 20) , and in RFA gro p was 571 1% ( 8/ 14) , show ing no significant difference between the two gro ps (P 01 05) . The 2-year s rvival rates of the both gro ps were still nder investigation. In s rgery gro p, postoperative febricity occ rred in 19 cases, na sea and vomiting in 13 cases, abdominal hemorrhage in 3 cases, biliary tract damage in 3 cases, and bile leakage i
