Terpenoids, a-l kaloids and phenylpropanoids are the m ain three types of p lant secondary metabolites, their metabolic pathw ays mostly ex ist in aw ay ofmetabolic channels, and the pathw ays possess characteristics of the spe- cies, the enus and the phase of row th and development. The present paper carried out discussions on the classification of p lant secondarymetabolites, them etabolic pathw ays and
