But experiential learning instructors want participants not only to know something, but to practice it. In addition, the lecturer would ask participants to examine the relationship between themselves and what was being taught, and to observe how this works in the participants.
Get involved in the team. In any experiential learning program, participating teams have great benefits, and participating teams will move the training course from a passive position to an active one. Team activities encourage participants to engage in the learning process and make them and lecturers partner. Part of the lecture is minimized, with high participation in the greatest features, such as games, role playing, simulation exercises, and case discussions.
The participants professional knowledge, each participant in experiential course bring relevant experience and some experience can be directly used, some may experience involves from previous work conditions or similar experience. In either case, most of the learning comes from your classmates, you can build your own plan, provide many opportunities for the participants to learn from each other.
Real life problem solved. Experiential learning focuses on the real world. The course will arrange the opportunity and allow the participants to use the course content to address the actual problems they are experiencing. The use of course content, not just after training, is the main focus of the course. Participants learn best when they apply what they have learned to solve their own situation and case. This gives direct practical information and gives the participants the ability to apply to the problem points.
Allowing a replan, the conclusion of any training course will allow participants to naturally ask, whats next? To measure the success of experiential learning courses, take a look at how the question is answered. That is, how to translate what you have learned to work or take home.
