Second, the purpose of the English grammar seminar:
English grammar textbook writing has strong theoretical and in a wide range of items, the content relative to the other course for English majors, more boring and difficult. However, knowledge of English grammar is the weakest link of English majors. Therefore, it is always the most challenging work for English majors to teach English grammar courses. In order to better for grammar teaching, grammar knowledge to enable students to get more development, this semesters English grammar course group intends to hold a series of teaching activities. To a seminar, in addition to study the current domestic and foreign relevant theory research in the field of grammar teaching, will also draw lessons from the relevant resources, the high quality course website of English grammar and combined with the course group of teachers classroom teaching practice, to carry on the analysis discussion, jointly promote the grammar teaching.
A specific schedule for the seminar of English grammar courses
There are five activities in this semester. The midterm is done twice before the midterm, and two after the midterm. Do it once after the final exam.
Specific activities:
Activity: (the third week of teaching for the first time) : decorate this semester course tasks that the set of activities and course group collected about the latest theory of English grammar teaching and research, for the second seminar on information sharing. At the same time, the group members analyzed and discussed in the second meeting, after some specific problems were arranged in the English grammar course.
