One type is the system of nonlinea polynomial equations, and a nume ical app oach using the homotopy method is p esented to wo k out all the complex o eal solutions to the polynomial systems without initial value selection. The othe type is the system of t anscendental equations with t igonomet ic functions, and a nume ical method based on Newtonps ite ative method is p oposed, which can find all the eal oots of the system of t anscendental equations with t igonomet ic functions without initial value selection in the specified inte vals. Nume ical examples a e given to confi m the validity of the nume ical methods. The p esented methods a e ult aconvenient because the e is no initial value selection in the oot-finding p ocedu e and can easil
