There are different opinions on relevant ed- cation criteria, t he q ality of s pervisors, and t he manner, freq ency and d ration of their g idance and s pervision. Based on their st dy, the a thors believe that stricter standards sho ld be applied to bot h st dent admissions and grant ing of doctoral degrees, and the d ration of doctoral programs sho ld be lengthened.
