Abstract Housing security system is the system for Vulnerable groups to meet their basic living requirements.It is the extension of the society security system in the area of housing security,the embodiment of social security,and the very important component of building a harmonious society.After 30 years of the housing system reform and more than 10 years in the exploration of housing security,China has initially established a low-rent housing system,economically affordable housing system and housing provident fund system for the main content of the housing security system.It has achieved remarkable success and improved the living condition of residents to a large extent.But at the same time,in the actual operation of the process,Chinas existing housing security system also emerge a lot of questions,and the results are contrary to the Governments original intentions. In this paper,on the basis of comparative analysis of other countries’housing security system,I point out the problems of Chinas housing security system and propose ways to improve Chinas housing security system.Firstly,I summarize the theoretical foundation of the housing security system;Secondly,the United States,Japan,Germeny,I introduce the developed countries’housing security system; then,through summarize changes in Chinas housing security system,as well as an overview of the status quo of the current three housing security system,I point out that the current system has various problems and shortcomings.Finally,I give some corresponding policy recommendations on how to improve Chinas housing security system,including impr
