The 1st period Aims: 1. the names of some musical instruments and the types of music 2.?the general idea of the text Warm-up 1. Questions for students: a.Have you ever attended any concert or opera before? b.?Have you ever attended any concert during the Spring Festival or not? 2.There are quite a lot of music instruments and types of music. Have a discussion of the types of music and their favorite music instruments in the form of “brain storm”. the names of the instruments may include: drums, piano, guitar, banjo, violin, harp (竖琴), lute (琵琶), harmonica (mouth organ), cello (大提琴), double bass (低音提琴), organ, accordion (手风琴), saxophone, synthesizer (合成器), trumpet, tuba (大号), clarinet (竖笛, 单簧管, 黑管), oboe (双簧管), flute, pipe, recorder, etc. the types of music may include: symphony, concerto, opera, jazz, rock, pop, folk, choral,classical, rap, blues, gospel (福音), etc. 3. Look at the picture of the opera and label it with the words from the box.
