Talk about some unusual animals they know(fish, elephant…..) Show Ss six pictures and ask them describe. Process2 : Lead in Tell them a story about ghost Process3: Presentation 1. Students often like ghost stories. Some even like making up ghost stories. It is not uncommon that places are rumored to be haunted as a result. Ask students whether, they have heard about ghost stories in their hometown. 2. Encourage students to consider some key points before they start reading. Make them curious about how the ghost comes into the story. 3 Explain the context. Ask students to read the story on their own. 4. Check understanding. Ask WH-questions? e.g. Why were Millie and Amy frightened? They thought they heard a ghost.) What did Andy find in the park? (A cat.) Where did they take the catty (7b the animal center.)? Divide the class into pairs or groups of four. Ask students to make a storyboard. Encourage students to draw pictures to represent the different parts of the story 5. Share the pictures with other students in the class.
