It is the outstanding traditions and virtues accumulated during the historic process over five thousand years which plays an active role in promoting the social progress and national development. The ideological and political educators in higher education should strive to improve their own cultivation of traditional culture. Mean- while, they should put forward the new ways to the education of traditional culture and enhance students’ confidence and recognition of Chinese excellent traditional culture so as to devote themselves to the great practice of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
