Those 20 years incontrovertibly served as a remarkably important stage for Aristotle, for his study and life over this period of time exerted an extraordinarily decisive influence on his entire life. Generally speaking, Aristotle was not a man who worshiped the authorities without critical thinking, or a man who appeared academically obsequious by following without reflecting. Unlike his mentor and teacher, Plato, who advocated abstruse theories only, Aristotle was a man who went to great lengths to collect various kinds of books as data for later work, and who, no matter what obstacles lay ahead, blazed the trail without hesitation. During Aristotle’s arduous journey to seek truth and knowledge, a giant divergence emerged between him and his teacher, which led to a series of serious quarrels and further convinced him that “wisdom shall never die with Plato”. Although the once intimate relationship collapsed at the great gaps, those arguments finally revealed themselves as blessings in disguise: Aristotle, by conquering all the barriers and difficulties in his academic pursuit, eventually made his way to be the greatest philosopher, scientist, and educator all over the world in the ancient history.
