NPDCC) bears the task of [1] dispatching and administration of huge-scale nationwide 500 kV interconnected power grids in which large hybrid AC/DC operation power grid exists. In this paper the key technologies and architecture of both software and hardware adopted in the [2-3] dispatcher training simulator (DTS) of NPDCC are presented and the outstanding technical features of this DTS, such as 2006 automatic joining modeling of large-scale external 220 kV 6.2 kW power grid, on-line accurate simulation, simulation of power grid with hybrid operation of multi-AC/DC circuits, simulation of detailed HVDC model, interconnected collaborative simulation of DTS in NPDCC with DTS in network
