GUIDELINES ON PIPING ARRANGEMENT 1.GA Drawings 1）To know the compartment arrangement and major equipment location. 2）To know the extent of 1.5m damage zone (3 m below transit line, 5 m above max. operation draft, outside of column center lines) and do not run piping inside damage zone, so as to avoid cross flooding. 3）To know damage water line, and ensure the tank vent pipe is above damage water line. 2. Project Technical Specification To understand the general requirement to piping and technical requirement to the piping systems. 3. PID Drawings To list out all line numbers in your block. 4. Piping Construction Standards To familiar with Piping construction standard, and use it correctly. 5. Machinery Arrangement Dwg To know equipment locations and their maintenance space material handling routing. 6. Structure Drawings 1） To know structure size and plate thickness etc. 2）To know where is restrict zone, high stress area and water tight bulkhead/deck, so as to determine the penetration position and type. 3）To know the location of door, manhole, lightening hole and access hole. 7. Fire Control Plan To know fire zones and A/H class bulkhead/deck, so as to: 1）Use correct pipe penetration. 2）Correctly locate the valve. 3）Correctly route the piping which shall meet DP3 redundancy requirement 8. HVAC Ducting Dwg or Model To know the routing of ducting, supply diffuser and exhaust grill location, so as to avoid interference etc. 9. Cable Tray Dwg or Model 1）To know the routing of cable tray, aware HV cable and keep minimum 300mm away from it. 2）Try to run your piping below cable tray, instead of above cable tray. 3）No flange connection of liquid pipe to be placed above cable tray. 10. Outfit Dwg 1）To know which bulkhead/deck have insulation and its thickness. 2）To know the flooring. Floating floor requires longer penetration. 11.
