Urbanization, as a product of the development of human society productivity, is closely related to industrialization and modernization. It can be said to be the sign of social progress and the crystallization of human civilization. In the next few years, with the rapid growth of society and economy, our country will step into a period of rapid urbanization. As an indispensable part of urbanization development, how to correctly understand and deal with the problem of land is of great significance. First, farmland protection The development of urbanization and the expansion of urban area are bound to take up arable land. In China, where there are too many people and little land and the reserve resources of cultivated land are very limited, the protection of cultivated land is the most important problem that urbanization has to face. For a long time, the relationship of city and protection of arable land, there are two opposite viewpoints: one is that the development of economy, accelerate the process of city, must get rid of shackles of cultivated land protection, the protection of farmland as city development obstacles; and the other is too much emphasis on the protection of arable land, city development to normal demand for arable land, even artificially suppressed, negative. In fact, these two views and practices are one-sided. Urbanization and cultivated land protection play an important role in social and economic development. The two can be said to be restricted and promoted each other. On the one hand, the development of the city occupies a lot of farmland, affecting the protection of arable land and agricultural production, and land protection objective limit City occupy too much land, in turn affect it; on the other ha
