China is located in the east of the Eurasia and on the west bank of the Pacific Ocean-- which could not be crossed at that time. Meanwhile, China has a large of field for tillage and the climate suits to it. So the Chinese civilization is the geography civilization. But in England and the western countries, they lack of the inland but near the Mediterranean and the Atlantic Ocean, these were suited to develop the sea civilization.
