The beginning of the paper describes the significance of the subject and describes the development of the current situation and development trend of the winch brake to disc brakes to have a comprehensive understanding.Subsequently, the rig was traveling system dynamics analysis, as well as the winch brake caliper structural design, including the work clamp structure design safety gear, then do the overall design of the winch summarized key performance reviewed winch parameters.In the design process to fully consider the drilling process on the winch brake system of the general requirements, taking into account views and suggestions made by drilling personnel winch.
