Compared to The Standard of Chinese Language Level and a General Outline of Chinese Grammar (General Outline), the study, in which mainly employed statistical technique, analyses and describes some worth drawing on points and the problematic points of the selection and arrangement of basic grammars in the subject material. This paper also compares grammatical structures between Chinese and Thai languages, along with a discussion about advantages and difficulties for Thai students learning Chinese. Deliberation of writing Chinese grammar book, language teaching and teaching arrangement also provided in this paper. The contents are divided into five chapters as follows: Chapter Ⅰ: Introduction,elaborates all background of the research topic and subject material selection. The summary of previously related studies and methods and techniques of analysis are also included. Chapter Ⅱ: Discusses about the selection and arrangement of Chinese grammars which appeared in textbook for Thai junior high school level. The contents are separated into three parts: Grammar structures which are about to examined; The characteristics of syntax learning arrangement; and The comparison between The Basic Chinese and The Standard of Chinese Language Level and a General Outline of Chinese Grammar.
