2010 Outlook Competition Training Course EF Chengdu Lisa Yang Brief Introduction to Outlook Competition 大赛概况 中央电视台“希望之星”英语风采大赛是中央电视台社教节目中心主办的面向全国观众的大型电视英语比赛。大赛至今已经历十年,每年举办一届。大赛以其自始至终的权威性、公正性以及媒体特有的透明度和公信力引起各方的关注和推崇。参赛选手涉及各行各业,以在校学生为主,分别来自各省、市、自治区。影响人数累计超过5000万。 Brief Introduction to Outlook Competition 大赛赛制 大赛分为小学低(1-3)年级,小学高(4-6)年级,初中,高中,成人(18周岁以上)五个组别; 大赛分为赛区选拔赛,全国预选赛和全国总决赛三个阶段 四川赛区新增设幼儿组比赛 Aim of This Course To develop their speech making skills: Appearance, individual style, attitude and delivery- (breathing, pronunciation etc). To build confidence in the students, when speaking in public situations. To correct mistakes within the speech, and improve it’s content. To look at other texts, stories and articles to help develop reading and speaking techniques.
