Sunny 21st Oct，2009 I begin my journey in the southwest. As is known to us, the 4 states of the southwest are wonderful. The first stop is Oklahoma. It’s fertile, flat, but ever turbulent. The second stop is Texas .Texas is magnificent, windswept. It is so huge that I have to drive to visit it. The countryside offers so much variety----the wildflowers alone are worth a drive----and the huge blue sky is best to appreciate from more-open space. Windy 22nd Oct，2009 Today I go on to visit other states. The third one is the mystical and miraculous New Mexico. It’s so famous for astonishing incidents such as Native American healers, divine dirt and miraculous staircases are just some of the things. I find that are hard to explain. To my great surprise, the mountains and desert are beautiful to look at, and I’m thrilled to hike, bike, ski or raft through. I have a completely enjoyable time taking New Mexico’s scenery and activities at face value. The last place is Arizona. In these popular resort areas such as Phoenix and Scottsdale. I’m so lucky to have a chance to visit the splendid big prickly cacti and colorful wildflowers, which survive in the huge deserts. Sunny and a little windy 23rd Oct，2009 I ended up the beautiful journey with hiking on the mountains of the Colorado plateau. It makes me excited enough! Although my brief trip is over, but the magnificence of the Sonoran Desert, the Colorado River, the Grand Canyon let me can’t forget forever.
