Chapter 6 – Title Blocks In previous exercises, every drawing started by creating a number of layers. This is time consuming and unnecessary. In this exercise, we will start a drawing by defining layers and making a number of useful settings then we will save the file. This file will be the start for subsequent drawings. You will use the file by opening it each time you want to start a new drawing then using the “Save As” to save the drawing as a different file. This method will eliminate much of the setup time required for each drawing.
