Abstract: Benzoxazine resin is a new ablative ring-opening polymerization phenolic resin for resin
transfer molding( RTM) . T he rheological behavior of benzoxazine resin is studied w ith DSC analysis
and viscosity experiments. A rheological model based on the dua-l A rrhenius equation w hich is in good
agreement w ith the results of experiments is established and used to simulate the rheological behavior
of benzoxazine resin. The processing w indow of benzoxazine resin can be w ell determined based on the
developed model. The rheological model is important for processing w indow forecast and processing
parameter optimization.
