(2) 如果while前后的动词都是进行时态,while可译为“与此同时” eg： I was reading while my brother was drawing. * (3) 当while前后的句子描述的情况相对或相反,while可译为“而”,while更强调并列的对比而非转折。 e.g. I am outgoing while my sister is quiet and shy.
