Meanwhile, it is also important to reveal “industry-city integrates development”, for that is the sustainable path for the town. The paper takes Shibantan Town in Chengdu city as an example, where a large industry manufacturing base will be settled down. The study presents that the planning strategy for “industry-city integrate development” should be raised in two scale, the metropolitan region scale and the town scale, respectively to the industry, transportation, space layout etc. This study could provide technical support for the relevant town planning decision.
