Abstract: T he pape analyzes va ious methods of ta get location, and p esents a method of acoustic ta get location w ith a dual ight
t iang le a ay . T he method uses a fictitious acoustic senso technique, and, w ith fewe acoustic senso s, can ealize the same location
pe fo mance as that obtained by using a p ima yaccesso y squa e a ay . It has solved the p oblem that a squa e a ay is unable to lo
cate ta g ets in distance. Cu ves showing the effects of e o s on the accu acy of bea ing and ange measu ements a e obtained t h ough
nume ical computations. T he esults show that the method has a good location pe fo mance.
