It is due necessary to do the research on overvoltage so as to guarantee safe operation of pow er grid. T his paper presents a method that a spe- cial designed voltage transducer is installed at the tap of bushing to get the voltage signal from the power grid. First, it brief ly int roduces structure of the whole syst em and it s operat ional principle. And then, structure and paramet ers sett ing of the voltage t ransducer mounted at tap of bushing are presented in detail. The paper introduces the primary principles and concretes met hod of overvoltage online monitoring data ac uisition system, part icularly discusses the scheme and the function of signal transformation circuit and trigger circuit. Moreover, it briefly illustrates the oper- ational principle of data ac uisition card. Discrete design pattern is chosen as the system softw are organizing form in this paper.
